Tucson Restaurants

elle wine bistro is the natural evolution in name and concept from the original elle, Wine Country Restaurant – which proudly served diners in its Broadway Village location from 1998 – 2010. Newly concepted and at home in its new location since late November, 2010, elle wine bistro now offers a hip (but not too hip), trendy (but not too trendy) environment and ambiance with an equally contemporary menu while still being neighborhood affordable. elle’s eclectic menu and imaginative wine list are sure to please.

Hallmarks of the bistro are many. Efficient business lunch service. Retail cheeses, olives, smoked salmon “to go.” Home-made sausages and fresh mozzarella.

Showcasing seasonal items and daily specials, elle wine bistro features many organically-produced, locally-grown herbs, fruits and vegetables grown at the U of A’s Controlled Environment Agriculture Center as well as Forever Yong Farm in Amado, AZ. Diners enjoy selections with touches of Arizona-grown fresh basil, mint, sage, chives, Greek oregano, savory and dill.

Salads boast area-grown fresh greens, arugula, radicchio, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and onions. Entrees may be accompanied by home-farmed haricot verts, baby carrots, baby beets, winter squash, zucchini, or even on occasion the more off-beat okra or chard!

Food and wine pairing events are owner Jeff Fuld’s specialty and passion. He masterfully offers suggestions for off-premises private events, thoughtfully considers the flavors of the menu and recommends wines which will balance and complement those flavors accordingly.

Whether dining in, taking out, or in-home or in-business catering, savor the many scrumptious flavors of elle wine bistro.
